I run in very deep, soft, and rutted sand. Large amounts of torque are needed.
31" tires is where re-gearing begins. Otherwise you will need to run 4-low.
3.55 and 31"s is fine for mallcrawling...
Great story and pictures! Thanks for sharing.
If Synergy has stiff steering for that 1000 mile break-in, than my stock steering box would be toast. It protested break in for the Currie steering system I installed. Time to upgrade..
I have read...
A new stabilizer will only mask any issues while the real problem continues to worsen. Risky...
A properly functioning steering/suspension does not require a stabilizer to be able to ride and drive...
Knowing the 'caster' numbers will help. One sign of not enough caster is after a turn the steering wheel does not want to return to center.
Generally I do an alignment at home and then take it to a...
A steering damper is not necessary on a properly functioning steering/suspension system. It will only mask any issues you are having.
The death wobble is coming from worn and/or loose parts.

Those hood props are a pain. And the hood is heavy. Opening when hot feels like my hands are burning.
The best solution is to use your old liftgate supports from the rear hatch.
They mount easily...
I wondred aboutt the effectivness of this too.

I used this for driving in soft sand , but did not notice any benifits.
The best thing for cooling I have found is the V8 Grand Cherokee fan clutch.
Now I can sometimes run AC on the beach.

The bolts can be drilled out, then put in your own bolt and nut. Just enough room to fit your fingers in to get the nut positioned.
Or shift the shock over 1" and redrill and bolt to that shock...
With the rear of the hood lifted, during an accident the hood can come through the windshield.
I would not cut through the cargo area. The upper shock mount area is raised off the
floor pan and your hand or fingers can fit in it to secure a nut to the shock. Through bolts are trouble back...
