Default stock hill crawling

So I took the stock as a rock xj out for some hill climbing yesterday just to see what it would do and i have to say i was very impressed with it in its stock form and ablity to climb the hills and ruted climbs on the power lines even with highway tires on it.

My buddy has a tj with a 4in lift and noobys and it hung with him very well only had to put it in low range one time

but his tj is a 4 cycl. he said he was in low range almost every time on the
climbs

so to say i am very happy with my chose of buying an xj and not a tj or jk

The only concern i had was it was running a few degrees over 210 on the temp then i would like

Glad you had some fun. Sounds like the Jeep bug has truly bitten you. These really are very capable Jeeps, having the same stuff as other Jeeps of this vintage and more comfortable too.

Sounds good. Everything starts from that and eat you deep enough...
