Got the remote filters mounted in a much better spot today, then found out that yellow tremclad is an almost perfect match!

This stuff is super light, I did not want the heavy bitumen stuff, the xj has never really been noisy or extra hot so I went with foil covered foam. I think the 120 feet I ordered weighed less than 5 lbs. and only really changed it out because the stock insulation was wet and stinky! Also the bitumen stuff would have added 100 lbs for everything I wanted to insulate.

I have been looking at various stuff. Some of the foam stuff is really heavy. Made for tractors so it doesn't matter. I am going with stuff made for race cars because of that

Pretty much done the wiring in the engine bay, as you can see it turned out pretty clean! There is still a little tiding up to do and still have to mount the overflow bottle, catch can and steering wheel. Almost ready to start.... well except for this...

    What does everyone think?
