    Default hub question

Hello this is my first post. I just bought a 1996 xj about three months ago and now wehn I turn I get a squeeling and clunking kind of noise and I was wondering if that would be the hubs? I know thats not alot of info but its the best Ive got. Also are MOOG hubs worth anything?

You don't really have a "hub" What you have is called a unit bearing. They can go bad, but the first thing I would check here is the front axle U joint
    230 hp 4.3L Chevy
    Built 4L60E with manual lockout
    Atlas 4 speed
    Griffin radiator
    On board air
    Warn 9.5ti on custom bumper
7.5" RE front and bastard pack rear on custom long arms
    30 gal gas tank
    lockers
And a bunch of other stuff

Yeah I was going to say check those joints.. as mine started doing that same noises, and the dealership said it was the bearing, but I looked at the u-joints and one was done, and the other was shortly behind it... so took care of them, and never had an issue..

I see that you got the right answer on the first part of your question but that no one mentioned the second part of your question. MOOG is a good brand for anything they make.
