    Default New Toy

Here's the super secret project I've been messing with for a week. I picked up a banged up Craftsman LT1000 Tractor with a 17 HP Briggs OHV motor for 40 on New Year's Eve.

There's a small community of guys modding and offroading these things. Being as I already have an LT1000 with a 15 HP flathead Briggs, for the price it's cheap spare parts.

I figured I'd share some pics because I've been posting some random and odd Facebook statuses lately.

Here are the pics the kid posted with the CL add. I don't have any pics, but I've got afew video's on youtube.

We had a "lawn mower" race track around here for several years. It was pretty cool, circle track'n on a lawn mower at 40 m.p.h.

This guy's pretty cool and is an XJ owner. His Craftsman has some serious flex for a lawn tractor.

That is awesome.. I used to have a Murray when I was in HS that had no deck, and was tweaked a little bit.. wish I still had that thing.. wasn't quite as cool as the one above, but was still fun to play with

Interesting project. Keep us up to date as you make modifications.
Hey bubba get your hand off my ass,

Some days it is just not worth it to gnaw through the leather restraints.
