Mort is looking good... Not sure on how the Apple connect thing works, but on the trip I'm on right now, I got a chance to play with a Big Horn edition Ram, and connected my phone to it via Android Auto... and all I can say is, if I keep my Ram I'm definitely looking into one that supports it... Only played with it for about 20 minutes... but was pretty nice... I like the frenching in the Rotopax, as the rear windows aren't really worth anything for wheeling, other than something easy to shatter out!!

I totally agree, the only problem is I use Mort as a daily driver too, don’t like the reduced visibility!

The stock wiring harness has always looked extremely ugly to me and I was pretty sure there is a lot of unnecessary wire in there since I have cut a lot of factory equipment out, so I started dissecting

And just as I thought, all that wire routed to the pass side can be shortened or eliminated.

Will look much better when finished!

Oh yes, lots of wire everywhere. Looking forward to the day I gut the dash wiring in mine

Well another day of playing with my wire!

Mounted the oil filters again and ended up relocating the coil.

Sure looks a lot cleaner with the fuse block gone and that 2” wire bundle not in the way.

The stock harness is garbage! They have grounds running from one side to the other, then ones cross crossing going the other way, what a waste!

Man that looks clean... Maybe one day I'll tear into mine to rid it of access stuff.. just to have the nice clean underhood... not to mention being able to mount stuff you want under there once the "junk" is gone... Maybe when I pull the engine to swap it out or to rebuild it.. But probably not for quite a while... Until then I'll just keep enjoying your guys builds...
