    Anyone have any ideas what this could be? I don't understand the no start issue? I can see the crankcase going over pressure and pushing oil out the dipstick, but why the no start?

    Can you confirm that you're getting fuel? You had the fuel rail out recently, right? Maybe spray starter fluid in the intake and see if it fires.

    I would definitely try unplugging the cps and back in.

    Yup got lots of fuel, haven't tried unplugging the cps yet, I guess I will be pulling it apart tonight when I get it home!

    CPS I think. They can fail and not throw a code

    Very well could be, I carry a spare, just seems weird with the oil issue?

    The oil issue is probably caused by an unrelated plug in the vents on top of the valve cover. 4.0s are famous for that

    So I got mort home, via tow truck, ( so humiliating), then noticed a puddle of oil on the floor from last night, apparently he was leaking last night.

    Well lots if oil in the intake, did start for a bit, died again, seems to be shooting lots of air out if the Pcv hole

    Now you know why it died. It burped oil into the intake. So, now you need to find out why. Two things to check. The elbows on the valve cover vents and compression
