finished up the under dash wiring,

got the new drive shafts in,

remeasured all the push rods, 3 were .040 short and 5 were .020 short, got them ordered up, changing out all fluids and the belly skid can go back on tonight.

getting very excited!!! might be able to go for a drive this weekend!

I wonder if your cam messed up some lifters. I checked with Matt and he said all my lifter shims were the same width.

What / how did you get the vents on the hood? They look effective and aesthetically clean.

I modeled the hood in 3d with inventor, came up with a pattern that I liked, then made a template and laid out the pattern on the hood. Fired up the plasma cutter and cut the pattern out, and used a die grinder to clean every thing up. After the hood was painted I got some expanded aluminum and glued it to the under side of the hood. So far this seems to work great and keep the engine nice and cool.
