    Default Paradise Light Parade

We got hooked up with the Northern Recon Group, a bunch of mulitary vehicle buffs and got invited to the Paradise Light Parade with them. So we said, what the heck. Today we had to do a little work on the Might Mite so we could run after dark, you know like functional lights. Easier said than done. Hooked them all up, and nothing worked. I mean, nothing. This was getting frustrating and we had to get ready for the parade. So get this, we were running the ignition switch off feedback from the light circuit. The PO had it wired that way. Go figure. Anyway, we threw the inverter in on the passenger side and took off for Paradise. We pulled in and were the second vehicle there. There were two MB Jeeps with trailers, one Dodge Power Wagon and a Blazer towing its trailer. We parked and quickly started putting lights on while it was still daylight. Got it done just before it was too dark to see. Here is some pics

That is cool... sucks to hear that you couldn't get any of the lights to work.. but at least you know what needs to be worked on to get that all working correctly again...

We got them working, but we both agree that the wiring is going to be gutted and start over

I was kind of figuring you guys had gotten them working... thought about it after I posted that.. LOL.. Yeah I think a full pull and restart on the wiring would be best, to get rid of any other stupidity the PO might have done..

It was good family fun. I am sure we will do it next year too. But we will be a little more prepared next time. They awarded a half dozen trophies and cash prizes up to 1000. One of the guys in our group won something, not sure what beyond a trophy. So, a little homework is in order.

Looks pretty cool. Next time bring a camera and take a video of the parade and some stills of the PW.
