Default Shilo Ridge trip 12-3-11 (pics).

Some of us here on Xjtalk were planning a trip to Shilo Ridge today (12-3), it seems something got in the way of everyone but my son and I. We went anyway. We met some Houston Jeep People folks and other than 2 ATV's we had the ENTIRE place to ourselves the WHOLE day. So with 3 jeeps and 1300 acres of tried and true trails we had a blast. Here are some pictures of the ride.

Looks like a fun time, and some awesome trails to run... Glad you guys were able to get out and have a good time... I wish I had trails that were closer to me.. I would def. be hitting them up as often as I could...

Big Jim told me his friend Wade (he and his rig in picture) was a great spotter. He was right, a lot of the climbs I have pictures of were successful from his spotting ability.

Wade broke his rear ds yoke, (the only carnage of the day), so he climbed Helicopter Hill in his wife , Linda's rig. Both diffs open!! :
