I need some help, I put in a richmond power trax no slip locker in my 8.25.
first of all the directions do not say to reuse the spider gear thrust washers do you or don't you? and the biggest problem is ILOST THE GO NO GO guage.
does anyone know what the measurements are?
Also rebuilt the motor and haveing trouble getting it to Idle, I changed cams and went with comp cams A6-260H-10
    @.50 intake 212 exhaust 212
    lobe separatio 110
this is a 95 cherokee sport so no timing adjustments posssible
    pace setter headers
gasket matched the intake to heads.
    Any Ideas
Checked for leaks and No leakes
    Thanks

I don't know if it did? Tried to run it today and it feels like I'm pulling a boat anchor. I was wondering if the pcm has to be reset, Is there away to clear the pcm? I think I should have put a SBC in it!!!!

I found the problem, the comp cam A6-260H-10 will not work with fuel injection!!!!!!! It says it right on the web site!!!!!! I don't know what todo now, pull the engine and put a new stock cam in unless you guys know of a chip or programer that can redo the pcm. This is a 95 so it has the OBD1 in it so options are very limited.
Should have gone with a SBC

Thought it might be something like that. The cam will affect your vacuum which will affect your fuel pressure. Not sure what to say here. There are some cams that might work. Do a search for CARB legal cams. Any of those if there are any will work.

Well I replaced the cam, and set it to where they say in the book, It ran but was running like a dog, so I pulled the cam out far enough to advance it one tooth and what a difference. It runs like it has a new engine!! O thats because it does. lol.
Now I need advice on the richmond power trax. I called the gu-ru at richmond and he said that I had a Dana 35 rear end. But it is a chrysler 8.25 I did a search on the web and found pictures and it is a 8.25. But he also said that you do not use the side thrust washers with the locker. But it seems loose the go, no-go guage will almost slip in between on the no-go part. I was wondering if I could use one thrust washer (because both won't fit) and take up some oof the slop? Think that would work?

Are you missing some springs or something here. My understanding is the side sprockets should be pushed together by some springs or such.

They are seperated by springs, it has to have some clearence so it can slip when going around corners.

Here is a picture of an 8.25:

I have a powertrax and it has no side shims. Works great.
