clearance 8.8 vs. 35 vs. 8.25

as per rene's request, i measured the pumpkin clearance on all 3 of my axles.
keep in mind i did these with a measuring tape, so allow about 1/8-3/16 error for parallelism.
ford 8.8 axle is 5-11/16 from the bottom of the pumpkin to the center of the tube
C8.25 is 5-9/16
D35 is about 5-1/16
my buddy said his 9" is about 6-3/16

ok, just took another measurement. at about 21deg. pinion angle the measurement on the 8.8 moves up to about 6-5/16. the back of the housing is just so wide compared to the other two.
