    Default AC Compressor Question

I recently installed a '05 LJ motor into my '95 XJ. My wife still wants the ac, so installed it. The '95 compressor has a single wire going to it, were as, the '05 has two wires going to it. I'm assuming one is a ground, but want to make sure. Does any one here by chance have a wire diagram for it, or access to one, or would know if one of the wires is a ground. Thanks.

I have no direct knowledge about anything to do with a JK but a good tester can help determine which wire is normally used as a ground, or a 9V battery when hooked to those two wires for an instant will help you by engaging the clutches on the compressor.
Hey bubba get your hand off my ass,

Some days it is just not worth it to gnaw through the leather restraints.

I think technically its a LJ (Unlimited wrangler). I'll see if I can round up a test or buy a cheap one from HF. Or even try the 9V trick, though that would be more out of curiosity than anything.
