    Default Track bar help.....

OK guys I messed up I need advices....

Got the new track bar and I put it in and try to insert the bolt (axle mount side) and start trying to bolt it and the bolt won't go in.... so I force a little and give up and look at the thing, the eye look too small and craqued the rubber bushing....

I will try to get it replaced but is there a trick to put it on ????

When I installed my new track bar the bolt went in easy. Probably the easiest part of my lift. Perhaps they gave you the wrong bushing. Or you can just open it up with a drill a little like Rene said.

Yes I thought about the drill
I read to use heat to expand the eye before ...
I guess when i get the right bushing, or a new bar I'll see if the bolt goes in BEFORE

If you cannot get it lined up, use some cargo straps to pull the frame over one way or the other till it does.

ok thanks for all the tips
I went to autozone get a new track bar this morning
what they told me is that the bolt that was there is not the stock bolt system (got to love PO's)
so I went to Lowes and got a 7/16 bolt and a drill bit... drilled the eye right away and BAM no problem...

I have everything lined up and at the moment just bitching because my bolt is too long and I have to take it out to cut a bit of it
But I have good hope to be able finish today (yes interruptio between kids and familly affairs lol)

Track bar done and in place
No more clunk when I turn left and no shacking at highway speed....

now I am just left with the axle U-joint lol and I might get rid of another noise....
