    Default Leaf Spring bolt

I am in the process of taking out my leafs, but I believe the weld on the other end of the bolt broke. It's the bolt at the front of the spring, the one that goes dircectly into the body. It will not tighten or loosen. Therefore I think the weld that held the nut at the other end broke. Any suggestions on how to get the old bolt out and the new one in? Thanks

Most folks cut a hole directly over it in the floor board of the cargo area. That way it is easy to cover up afterwards. It is better there than in the frame area unless you are a good welder.
