Ive spent a lot of time up there and in the ozarks and bull shoals area via motor cycle. We have no specific spots picked out were just going to wander the Ouochitas for a few days camping whereever.

Sounds awesome. Hit up Lake Winona if you get time. Cool river and spillway crossing down the back of the spillway.

Decided it would be easier to replace the exhaust manifold/header with the head completely off.

Or I already had the head off to replace lifters...and nobody in town had the removal tool so the Jeep is laid up until I get the tool delivered tomorrow.

There is another similar one out there (https://www.amazon.com/Wrangler-Cher...ustomerReviews) that the mounting flange isn't the same thickness as the intake so you have to make spacers and you had to grind part of the intake for clearance, the one I got doesn't need any of that.

Pretty sure I found the culprit on my low beams. Harness relay. Was hanging upside down and got water in it. I'll put it in a better spot and likely waterproof is.

I installed the headlight wiring harness upgrade from KSuspension this past weekend. The lights are much brighter and work great. The only thing is now my right turn signal now blinks fast like it has a light bulb out. Iíve checked all the bulbs and they are functioning properly. Any idea what may cause this? Iíve read that in some of the 97 XJís you may have to replace/upgrade the turn signal relay under the dash but that was to correct an issue with the high/low beams. Mine are working fine. Itís a 2000 XJ.

I would just upgrade the flasher. If nothing else is wrong, the heavy duty flasher made for towing and extra tail lights works great. I have been using them for years. But beware they will work with only one bulb so don't expect it to tell you when you have one out by not working

Yes it makes a huge difference. I did a visual inspection in the day time so I have not taken the bulb out of the socket. Yes they are stock bulbs. Odd thing is prior to the install, the right turn signal worked just fine. Iíll check tonight when it gets dark and try to troubleshoot this weekend. Thanks for the tip.
