i don't see how anything much bigger than stock will fit. don't have the smallest hands, but it was quite a bitch to get the stock one out. hoping the 120 amp goes in without a lot of fuss..

250 amp? Honestly, I don't see how it would work. Could ask the wife to install it while I make dinner I suppose.

Not opposed to it. Could also whip up a delightful chicken carbonara. raw egg on top seals the deal.

Looked at it... and wished I had the spare money to get back to working on it... and get it further along than it currently is... Got a few things I have to take care of before the weather starts getting cooler.. Like get the original hatch back on it, and get the rear window in the hatch replaced with the "new" one... get the cheap HF air horns hooked up, so that I'll have horns again... and once I have the money to, take it by a shop and have it looked over real good, to make sure it's good to go before I head off down the road for some off road fun times, especially with the little one riding along...

Needed to replace the exhaust manifold, noticed it needed a motor mount, better replace the Crank Shaft Position sensor while I got this room to work. Crap! forgot the new manifold gasket. I guess I should probably replace the front pipe of the exhaust also since it needs everything else from there back. Run number 2 to the parts store.

well the big alt was a no go. Had a ride line up for this past Sunday, so I just swapped locally and put it back on. Still no idea how you get a bigger alternator in there.

4.3 I just realized you're running a different engine, so different clearances up front. no way a 250 amp was going where the stock alt goes on a 4.0

Replaced my tranny mount to try and fix my driveline vibes. It did help, but I still hear like a hum of sorts. I need to do some more driving to really give it a test.

About a week ago, since most of the roads around me were flooded due to high rain levels, I decided to take her to work.... Made it out of the parking lot to the complex and she decided to rid herself of the serpentine belt..... Well she didn't necessarily rid herself of it... just left the pulleys and wrapped around the main fan pulley.. so I manhandled her and made a 100pt u-turn in a random driveway and limped it back home, and swapped everything I had just swapped from the car to the Jeep in the pooring down rain, back into the car still in the pooring rain... and now 10minutes later, I'm on my way to work in the car.. Two days later I'm on my days off, so I wait until after midnight to avoid having anyone bitch at me for breaking the HOA rules and working on my vehicle in the parking lot... and install the new belt.. Took her out for a test drive... and have a blast again driving the ole girl.... I so can't wait to find a place where I can at least work on my s**t again... if not in a garage, I'm fine with that.. I just want to be able to work on my stuff again without getting s**t for it...
