Got a CB radio installed in my XJ from a guy I know for 50. Works great...if only the sunspots didn't allow me to hear everyone in Pensacola from here in California. The 'Silver Bullet' in Florida is a nice guy though. I'll post pics when it's fully equipped where I want it. Can't seem to get anyone local though. Probably nobody broadcasting way up here in the sticks.
If you're gonna wanna talk tough, I'll watch your eyes widen as I drop my Jeep on your hood like a Tonka Truck.

I'd I ever have to do that job again in going to cut an access panel in the transmission tunnel. Once the new sensor was in, it started right up. Thanks to everyone that pointed me towards the CPS.

I have his new one, meant to bring it with me on this deployment, but since I was rushed forgot it... I think I might order his first one too though, not sure if there is any differences, but from what I'm seeing it seems like the first one might be like an intro/beginners build book, and the new one is a bit more "advanced" stuff..??!!... either way the parts that I have gone through and read thus far have been pretty informative and good reading..

Yes, the first one is more basic and beginner stuff and this new one is more advanced mods. I can't wait to receive it!

Yeah like I said the parts I did get to read before I left, were really good and informative... But I think I might still pick up the first one, just to have more informative stuff... Not to mention I'm still a newb to some modifications, so might come in handy as well.. Can never have too much useful info when building!!

Trimmed the plastic up in the front wheel wells, painted the braces and remounted the horns. Also, took off the fender flares to repaint as they are fading.

Decided on working on taking my steering box off as a bolt broke off in it when trying to unbolt it to install my new bumper. Moving it away from the frame I realized that the only parts of the spacer that were still there were the parts that had corroded to the bolts. So I ordered a new one from Iron Rock Offroad. Figured the 5-7 days it takes to get here should be plenty of time for me to figure out how to get the bolt in the steering box out. Figured I could pry the spacer off the bolt it is corroded to, clean the bolt up, weld a nut onto it and then see if I can back it out. Bought new grade 8 bolts to use when I remount it.
