Not nothing... Mainly cause I'm down in GA for UTA weekend with the Reserves.. .and she's not really a long haul ride... I'm still needing to get up with a shop to have them take a look at the front axle and identify what is causing the popping... and hopefully it won't be killer expensive to get repaired and back up and running smoothly.. Although I did use it Thursday morning to jump start my MR2, and while the hood was up and the engine running I noticed the cylinder 1 arching from the plug wire boot over to the head... might explain some of the "skipping" I've been feeling/hearing lately...

Main bearings were good, replaced thrust bearing, rod bearings, oil pump, and rear main.
Crankshaft end play is now within spec.

Saturday I put the engine back within the "frame rails"
Sunday I mated the trans to the engine and buttoned everything else up.
Drove it to work. So far all is well, shifts good, no leaks.

I also pulled the cruise control unit from the 97 and installed it into the 93. I have to splice the plug from the 97. I have a turn signal stalk with cruise on order to hopefully finish it off. I have to replace the turn signal switch anyways since I have to hold it to activate the right blinker. I also have the shifter bushing and seal on order.

Rebuilt the rear brakes this morning, everything but the backing plate, and had Nubs tires put my new tires on.

Leak still wasnt fixed so I pulled the oil pan and replaced the rear main seal this afternoon. I was losing about a quart of oil every 100 miles.

The seal was rock hard and the seal lips broke apart in my hands by just squeezing them. Hopefully this will fix the majority of my oil leak issue. It's looking like I may need to pull the timing chain cover off if I cant get it to stop leaking as well.

Replaced almost everything, CPS, TPS, IAC, throttle body gasket, thermostat (195 F), coolant temperature and air temperature sender, ignition coil, rotor, cap, spark plug wires and plugged a pinhole at a bottom of a fuel tank. Oil filter adapter o-rings and oil filter also replaced, oil changed (Castrol 5W-30) Air filter, spark plugs, MAP sensor and AT filter changed within a year. PCM reset. hope MPG will increase, it was a 130-150 mile in city with full tank. BTW, who have seen warped thermostat housing? Mine had a gap at driver side bottom (around 3-5 hour position) and I used a decent amount of silicone gasket maker while install. So far, no leak.

Looks like you did a lot of work on that Od. Most of those tstat housings I have seen are just cast with no machined surfaces. Doesn't surprise me it is not fitting flush

yeah, before winter, need to do something to decrease her appetite

While shifting N-D or N-R and back; felt like someone kick me it was very annoying for long time. Before adding 2nd leaf to a set, I just thought, reason was flexy leaf spring. After adding 1 more leaf there axle wrap seems gone, but kicking still there.

Look at rear diff while friend shifting gears, found a lots of rotation at rear pinion. Opened rear diff and saw planetary bevel gears (? 2 small gears that cross pin inserts) had a movement. There was washer at each end, but still have a small space for 1 more washer. After a full 3 hours under rear pumpkin, finally inserted additional washer at both side and cross pin installed there. Now there is no play at gears, everything sits flush with each other
