    Default Removing Plasti Dip

So, the person that owed the Jeep before me put Plasti Dip on all the wheels and the back as well, they didn’t take care of it and now the Plasti Dip is peeling off and it is making my wheels look really bad . I tried using som WD-40 but the didn’t work, tried using goo gone and that didn’t work either. Can someone or if anyone may know what is the best way to complete take the Plasti Dip off the rim without damaging the tire itself or anything else. Yes , I will removing the tire from the Jeep , I don’t want it to get involved with my breaks or anything. Just any tips to get this stuff off please. Thank you! Click image for larger version.

That sounds good, other than that you just have to peel it of since it is not a true paint

Yeah it should peel off fairly easily. Past that plastic scrapers and stiff bristled brushes help as well.
