While working on my P0700 P0715 and P0753 I found a problem with the NSS/ISS connector. I temp fixed it and the Input Speed Sensor issue went away (unrelated to this fix) but the Solenoid A issue remained.

But a new set of trouble codes came up...

So I stayed focused on the two first issues, speed sensor and solenoid. Eventually I got those fixed but these new ones remained.

Doing some digging online I found that on the 98 Jeep Cherokee fuse number 10 a 15 amp (kick panel fuse box pass side) if blown will trigger these codes.

I checked this on mine, and sure enough my fuse was blown. Then started the 30 hard target search for one of these "mini" fuses. Now have an assortment of 140 of them on the way from Amazon. I managed to find a 15 amp mini fuse and had at CEL free ride into work today!

Why does this stuff happen in the month that inspection is due?
