    Default CA on fire

Looks like fire season is not over here. The latest, the Camp Fire is much more than a camp fire. Destroyed Paradise and Magalia and came down the hills to near our house. Our best friends lost their house and were barely able to escape. We are about a mile and a half from the lower edge and on the outside of an evacuation zone, however if we leave the house they won't let us return unless we sneak in on back roads. So no worky on Jeepy or anything else. Too smokey outside, and raining ashes. Never saw the sun today, been pretty dark.

Stay safe brother!!! At least on a good note, you know if you had to sneak back in, you got the rig to handle the backroads/trails to get home... Hopefully you have enough food and supplies to hold out until you guys are able to leave and return freely... And hope they are able to get a handle on it before too much more damage is done... and especially before it hits you..

Yes, we are safe. But we have friends who lost their homes, as well as many that work in town. Chico population has doubled and has made lots of traffic problems. One nice thing, Butte County Sheriff has promised swift prosecution to looters and price gougers.
