    Exclamation Site Changes

You may have already noticed the site has changed. We updated the site's software to a newer version!

Personally I like the older version better, but there were some serious security issues so we had to update.

Today Tapatalk has been disabled. WHY?!?!?! OH WHY?!!?!? You have scream...

Simple. For some time now they have been running ads on your phone that we don't get ANY credit for.

WHINE ALERT! It costs money to run this site, time and effort. When you access the site through Tapatalk they are making money from a site that they are not putting any money, time or effort into.

You can access the site via your phone's browser. Any ads you see we WILL get credit for and may receive a few cents in the process. Ain't getting rich here, but it sure is nice for the site to be able to pay for itself instead out of my personal pocket.

Sad to see tapatalk go for sure. Sucks they don't want to share with the forums that give them their whole use. I used the browser before, and I can forge ahead to do it again!

so you get paid for looking at ads or when they click?

just seems a tad crazy to limit access to the site. posting pics just a LOT more fun as well...

but hey, you've got 3 websites and a podcast to do right?

Actually it's a "no no" to post this but when they click. Shhhhh! They're watching! Have you posted a picture using this new version of the forum. I think it's pretty slick. I haven't tried mobile. I can't see how people use mobile to surf.

you can't see how people use their phones, the computer in their pocket, to access the internet????

I guess I should start from the top. People DO use their phones to access the internet and sites like this one. I browse on my laptop a few times a day, but the majority of posts are made from my phone.

Tapatalk is an app for browsing and posting (pics AND text!) on internet forums.

I gave up on posting pics from my computer, the pics are on my phone anyway. Tapatalk was REALLY convenient for 1 step picture posting. You should try the service you just disabled, actually made the forum MUCH easier to use. Now its gone. Keep an eye on the activity #s, I predict a drop in activity. Or just kill the damn thing already.

PS nobody clicks on ads, not on purpose anyway. all you've done is limit user access.
