Default Leaky fuel tank at EVAP connection??

So my fuel tank seems to be leaking at the connection for the EVAP line running into the tank on the top of the tank on the front passengers side corner. At least that's what I'm assuming this line is...
I can sometimes smell gas around that area, and when off-roading with a full tank it seems to slosh around enough to actually leak fuel down the side of the tank. Not good.
Using a mirror and light I can see the connection. The hose seems to be in decent condition. I pulled it off to inspect it. I think it's actually leaking from the plastic connector on the tank. It rotates pretty freely and feels a bit loose.

Any ideas on the best way to fix this? I'm sure I'll be dropping the tank in the near future, I just want to make sure I have any necessary parts

Can I get a replacement connector? How does it come out? What if I just slathered the thing with RTV?

I have not heard of a replacement connector, but you might try and see if you can find one. This is the first I have heard of that problem

I could possibly get one from a junk yard. I'll have to see if I can even get it out.
    Thanks!
