I have been looking to do this as well. I bought an extra bezel but like someone else stated I haven't broke out the hack saw just yet. Mine is more for a large screen for a rear view camera. I have neck problems and turning all the way around is not an option. May just mount a video screen separate and use a single DIN receiver for tunes.

No, kinda gave up on the idea when I saw this Joying Android single din head unit. No cutting, just install.

Same one I was looking at. Perfect if you move the HVAC controls up above the head unit. You can keep everything and have all the old stuff functional

There's a guy I'm friends with on Facebook named Joseph Metcalf (Jeep-Joe) who's installed one in his 96 Jeep Cherokee and he shows how it works and he's got videos about it.

The nice thing about the Joying unit is that the display can be moved up or down to fit it just right on your dash.

I have an old I-pad laying around that I thought about doing something like this with. But after some consideration, I just got a Kenwood deck with bluetooth and all that, and ill keep the i-pad in my glove box, or just use my phone for the clinometer and speed and everything on my "torque" app.
