    Default Lifting shackle problems?

I rode in a friends 90 XJ (red) it has 3 inch springs with these Chevy lowering shackles that gave him about another inch.
The problem was as we drove down the road the rear end kinda wig waged back and forth. he claimed it was because of the shackles.
I suggested we get down there with a wrench and make sure it's all tight.

    Anybody else have lift shackles?
    Any problems from them?
Any ideas on what else to look for?

I have 2" lift shackles on the back of my 93 XJ and never had that kind of problem.

I was going to say the same thing Steve says about checkin the width of the shackles/bushing to make sure that they fit correctly.. I've run adjustable lift shackles on the back of both my 97 and my 98 and never had anything like that happen...
