Default I must be a fool

Early this month, EARLY, Josh had his XJ blue slipped.
    It needs ball joints.
    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

With only a two week window, we should've just forked out for the ball joints and got them from wooders or jeeeparts etc.
Didn't want to spend a mint, paying for it in time, now.
I was going to order from Rock Auto. I would have the joints now.

Ordered, online, 4 ball joints for the XJ, through Supercheap. Yes, I know.
Order received on the 9th. June.
    Order packed for pickup...........

    21st June. !!!
Received a undelivered ticket in the mail box on the 22nd. :sigh: I wasn't home.

Organized a re delivery for the 23rd, gave instructions to leave parcel.

Courier turns up, spends 5 mins. Scrimmaging through the van, jumps back in, and pisses off. FFFFFFUUUUUUUU.

Righto, I say. Dickhead didn't load it.

    He'll deliver tomorrow. 24th.

    Nup.
Jump on line, track the parcel, IT'S ON IT'S WAY BACK TO BRISBANE. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Eventually, I did apologize to the call center girl. But fark me she learnt something else today.

I received a call back too, letting me know, my parcel should be here Monday.

World War farkin 3 if it ain't!!!!!!!!!!!

Been there. I like how UPS will try again daily (up to 3-4 times) to deliver. I had a package from the postal service miss a delivery and they left a note. I went online and "rescheduled" for Saturday when my wife would be here... no parcel. I called the number and rescheduled for Tuesday because they need a couple days to read the note apparently, and no package still. Left a nasty note in the mailbox and the postal carrier knocked on the door apologizing that she was never told of my other 2 attempts at rescheduling and that the package would be there the following day. It was... a week and 3 days after it was originally supposed to be delivered.

I do not know if you are on a city route or a rural route. I always call the post office and talk to someone. You went on line. If the supervisor forgets to check the internet, your screwed. If you do not have to sign for a package you are receiving have it sent to you carrier release. This way the package is left at the door whether you are home or not.

First time I've had this problem with a carrier.

If it's with the postal service, it gets left at the local PO to be picked up, and a ticket to let you know is left in your mail box.

This time around, it's with a courier company. First try, leave a ticket for re delivery. Second time round, return to sender!!!FFS!~!!! The thing is, he turned up, outside my house, but didn't HAVE my parcel. So promptly left again. This, apparently, is my fault, so I don't get my goods.

By god they got a bleedin ear full when I got on the blower!!!!!

Monday is the day. If it isn't here....................................

The XJ should be registered already and be full of fuel for a fun weekend. PPffffftttt!!!!
    Shop local they say...

The carrier isn't the half of it though...

Supercheap, (Supercrap) where I ordered this lot from, received the order on the 9th June. 21st it was packed ready for pickup!!! 22nd I received the undeliverable ticket. 23rd dickhead turned up out front of my place to do a dance around his van and leave again........

The reason I chose Supercrud, was ... I dunno, naivety.?? Blind hope that it would turn up within the week????? It was coming from Brisbane. I'm in Casino. That's only 3 hours apart!!!!!!!!

But it takes near on 2 weeks to organise a freekin part!!!!!!!!

BUT!!!!! If I order from Rock Auto, I can my ENTIRE order, within a week!!!!!!
THEY'RE FRIGGIN THOUSANDS OF KILOMETRES AWAY WITH SHITTONNES OF SHARKS IN BETWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
