    Default 1997 xj radiator HELP!!

Okay I got the XJ alive and moving again. But apparently i am missing a plug to the radiator. And I havn't been able to find it online or in part stores....

Maybe Im looking in the wrong places....
But the part is on the radiator below the Transmission cooler line

It looks like a little drain plug for your bath tub almost
seems be be like 1.5-2 inch around...

It is likely one of those things that only comes with a new radiator. Best bet maybe to hit up a local junk yard. Have an LKQ close?

Are you talking about the plug with the square part on it, that looks like you could use a wrench to remove it, right above the inlet/outlet tube??

Let me know which one it is... and if I can find my old radiator I'll see if I can remove it from my old one and ship it out to ya!!

The standard way to deal with death wobble is to have someone saw the steering wheel back and forth while you look at all the joints in the steering system. Fix whatever moves that shouldn't

I think my control arms, are not set correctly.

But i have a 4.5 inch X series short arm kit.

I set the upper and lowers to 16.5

And i have this nasty off angle and it looks like my springs are bending

They probably look that way because your castor angle is not right. Show me a pic

As I suspected, your castor angle is wrong. If you have death wobble, this will contribute greatly to it. If you have a smart phone, get a free leveler app and set the phone on the ground and get a reference angle and then set it on the top of the ball joint, which should be relatively flat and set the castor to 5° towards the rear. If you get driveline vibes, you will start having to split the difference until you get it worked out
