    Default Friday Drivies.

    Friday Drivies ??,

... I have a feeling I'm going to be lazy on Sunday ..

Anyways ... Just a few pics from a little run today.

Main reason for the trip was to go and collect a young american who will be staying with us for a while.

I must say ... he's a polite young bloke. Must have a bit of "southern gentry" in his breeding ??,

... coz he kept calling the chief cook and bottle washer, Maaaaam ... every time he saw her.

Young American ... heh heh ... He's just a kid really.

No we didnt kidnap him ... and he wasnt a stowaway on a QANTAS flight.

... and as proof ... I'm sure you'se wont find his piccy on a U.S. milk bottle.

    Meet Thurston Howell the 3rd.

... his mum had triplets ..

    Gratuitous XJ piccy ..

Whilst walking the dog at a pit stop ... I took another piccy of those horizontal organ pipes that 4.3LXJ liked.

Shoulda taken several considering how blurry it is .. ..

    Pit Stop.

Blue Hills was broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) for 27 years, from 28 February 1949 to 30 September 1976. It ran for a total of 5,795 episodes, and was at one time the world's longest-running radio serial. Each episode lasted 15 minutes.

There was a reason it was called Blue Hills.

    Right Turn Clyde

Anybody remember that song by the Brit band, Queen ??,

    ... Fat Bottom Girls ..

    It was a HumWee Snr .. ..

    Are we there yet ??

An old Aussie watering hole ..

    And another ......

Hah Hah Hah ... silly buggers,

    ... They bought a Jeep ......... ohhh waittt ........

Safety my arse ... its all about the revenue raising ..

Someones getting a good spot of rain ......

Traffic was as heavy as peak hour on the Brooklyn Bridge .. ..

.... and so ends another 500 mile run in the ol XJ - without any issues ... or overheating ..

.... If it keeps this up, Chrysler will have to buy it back ... before it destroys their reputation .. ..

I hate watching simplicity and reliability being ruined by bureaucracy and technology.

Well ... the goat paddock is a bit like WW2, here at the moment.

Back when USS Australia, was Americas biggest aircraft carrier,

... we had a little saying.

Americans ... overpaid, oversexed ... and Over Here.

I'll be damned if I know where he got the silk stockings and chocolate, that still seems to be part of the woo-ing procedure you fellas use.
