    Default 91 xj 4.0l

My Cherokee won't start but while I was attempting to start it, it literally blew my oil dipstick 10 feet away....YES....10 feet away. Was wondering why did that happen? What causes that to happen?

Sounds like the vents in the valve cover are plugged. Those little plastic elbows get plugged up and the engine develops pressure in the crank case
