Camera is about 14' off the ground. Kinda looks like Bambi wearing a big hat from this shot. He's young

What do you guys think of muzzle brakes, flash hinders on rifles? I'd like to get my Remington 700 varmint bull barrel threaded for one or the other, perhaps both.

We went over to my sister in laws yesterday to sight in the guns for deer season. I got all mine sighted in except for one of the muzzleloaders that i put a new scope on. I may have to get that one out there in the next few days.

Ryan have you thought about 20 round P-Mags for your AR? I just picked a few up in St Cloud a few weeks ago and they make it a lot nicer for getting around by not having that extra chunk of mag hanging down there. Just and idea.

I thought you had some suppressors? If not, you need to

Ok so I would get a muzzle brake. perceived recoil is less and less muzzle rise. I got the Dead Air Sandman-S due to the design of the muzzle brake they use. Their muzzle brake acts like a quick detach as well. Some say the muzzle device is well enough made that if you dont even buy their suppressor to just get the brake.

I got out deer hunting last weekend, but with highs in the 70s, there wasnt much for movement. Its supposed to be in the 30's this weekend, so hopefully that helps.

nice stand placement with good cover.

I got out as well. First year hunting this property, feeders have been out about a year. You think you know a piece of land until you go sit in the stand for a couple hours. Turns out I have a gun range close by and several guys were sighting in. A shot went off every couple minutes until 5pm. Wind was wrong for my other stand so I moved around and hunted a couple other spots from the ground. Needless to say, I didn't see a thing - didn't expect to with everything going on, then moving a few times. Was nice to get out in the woods. Way too hot in Tx as well. Was 46* this morning so things are FINALLY cooling off. Short on good bucks staying around, but not too bad for a free spot thats 10 min from my house.

Oh very nice! Bummer about the gun range though. Hopefully everyone is sighted in by now. I know here in MN, its illegal to sight in during deer season, even on private property. I guess its still legal at the range though...

Having land that close would be sweet. Time for you to get some cameras out and get a good lay of the land. My land is 40 minutes away, not horrible, but not easy to set up cameras and check them all the time

Trap shooting league starts Dec 1. We start practicing your weekend. This will not only be my first time trap shooting but holding a shotgun at all. It will be interesting.

wow! yes it will be interesting. learn to shoot with both eyes open. helps you track the clay. also stand so you can swing the gun around comfortably from L to R and back. Have fun!

The best part, I don't have any depth perception! I can thank my mom for that.

was out Tuesday, no shots so hopefully they're done. Got 2 cameras out, one of them emails me pics. Had some kids vandalize things and wanted to protect what I've got out there. I've spent a good bit of time out there, hopefully the shooting was a 1 time deal. Getting nice deer on camera, if I can keep the landowner off the land I should easily fill a few tags this year. Hoping wife gets one with a bow.
