Default After market Power Distribution Unit

I bet someone has posted about this before, but I can't recall...

You may remember I have a over head switch panel

Right now I just have 4 of the 10 switches connected.

2 of those switches are for the ARB air lockers that have yet to be installed, but that doesn't mean I can't run the wiring for the switches.

I need to add relays and fuses for several of the lines I'll be running. I was hoping for something that would consolidate the relays and/or the fuses into a box that I could screw to a firewall in the engine bay.

I've been poking around but I haven't found anything that fits the bill.

If you've added an after market power distribution box, please share here.

Unfortunately FitchVA is not around the web anymore. He was an XJer that built a switch and relay/fuse box that I eventually plan to mimic and built something similar.

If you search FitchVA box you can find a few pics of his and others who copied his idea.

My internet on my phone is not working right now, but go to summit racing and type in 30004, it's a painless performance fuse block, might be what you are looking for tony

Steve Fitch moved to Ga. about 3 yrs. ago, job related. I think he sold his XJ before he left. He was in our club......super nice guy.

I text a guy who might have it on his PC but wasn't sure. He said he would check and see. It is in PDF format and if he has it he will email it to me. Fingers crossed.

This is one that I planned on making. Looks factory but adds a lot of potential in the way of fuses/relays. Watch the video all the way through (comes out looking way better than I expected when I first watched)

Looking at some of the fitchva stuff that's up on naxj and other forums it looks like the box in the Bleepinjeep video I posted above is a mimic of that. Don't know if that was on purpose or just came by way of ideas being the same

Personally, I think the best thing is to cruise the pick and pull until you find one you want and clip the wiring harness with enough wire you can work with it.

Waterproof Fuse/Relay Box on FaceBook.. I ordered one from him to run in my XJ, and it is an awesome setup, and not a bad price either...

I agree, in my search last night I saw a plastic sheet with a couple of 8 lug blocks and multiple relays bolted to the sheet. Nice color coded wiring to everything. They only wanted 300+ for those.

I'll just build my own. I started selecting parts from Amazon last night, then I realized I really need to sketch out what all I need to to control first.

Always go too big. Don't want to do all that then not have enough space on it later on. I was also thinking about putting a voltage readout on mine, just some ideas to play with

That's the problem though, I usually go big then think about it later.

Hahaha well think then go big, then think so more and improve haha. I want to design one that I can either sell or just give out the blueprint for guys like us to make them, that's if people like the idea enough haha
