    Default OEM fog light leaking

I've got evidence of water getting into one of the OEM fog lights in my stock bumper. The lens is discolored. OEM repleacements can be had for 30, but I was curious if these units are sealed to the degree that they can't be, or shouldn't be, opened for cleaning and resealing.

I don't mind replacing them, but that's not top of the list, so cleaning them up if possible would be wiser.

I haven't had a set of those on my bench in a long time.
I've always just swapped em out. BUT... thats not to say that they cant be taken apart.
I dont know that they are meant to be... but that doesnt mean that they cant.
But just like a watch... once you open it you're likely not going to get as good of a seal out of it ever again. Thats not to say you cant dip the thing in RTV, or paint 17 coats
of bedliner over it all to seal it up again.
In any case, i say give it a go.... worst case scenario you have to replace them anyways, and you're out 30 for a little bit of knowledge.
Good luck!....and be sure to let us know how things turn out.
(dont forget to snap a few pics along the way too!)

I'll look for something as close to drop-in as possible and swap them. Upon further inspection, one is half brown, and the other is all cracked up.

I don't feel like learning how to wire something new up, so whatever I find that plugs in as-is is my goal.

    Thanks Folks.

Found these at wall mart. 25 bucks had to cut airdam but only two wires and the can be hooked to foglight wires. Uses same bulb as factory
