Default Borgeson HD Steering shaft #000893

Has anyone had trouble with installing a Borgeson Steering shaft #000893 on the 2000 XJ mine seems to be 9 inches to short I called Borgeson they claim I got the right one and it should extend to 26 inches which it does however still to short my steering box is stock mounted in the stock location I purchased off 4wd.com they can not help either they did say they had a problem with the shafts miss marked but Burgeon claims that never happened

Why don't you collapse it all the way and call them and ask them what the collapsed length should be. If it is shorter than they say, then perhaps there was a goof someplace.

I don't know what else to suggest. Are you sure you have extended it all the way?
