Default Mud Bug Crawl! It was no moab, but still fun.

Some may have seen me mention an event I was preparing for, and I did indeed make it. Both my brother and I did. And just happened to pull in right behind Matt (msmoorenburg). Not sure of the number of the entire group that showed but it was between 40-50, including 11 XJs and 1 MJ (was very surprised at how many came). The event was part jeep show, part crawfish boil, and part mud pit. Although the mud pit was a bit dry, most likely because it was way to wet a week before. It did make for a nice flexy course though! Admittedly the hill felt a bit intimidating the first try, I ended up getting a bit carried away and running it at least 12 times (i lost count). Was a great time and met many local people i had only known through FB before. Now for the pics.

    Here's the pit...

    Easy side of the hill...

Of course that one that has to try. He got stuck a few times and suffered a little damage to the front end...

    A couple of my brothers...

A few of my favorites of mine...

Little video of my first run...

    Not a bad day...

It really was. Nothing big, just a good chunk of Saturday fun. And amazingly the weather was excellent. In the 60s!

To be perfectly honest it still sits with the mud on it. Actually i washed it the morning of the event and was joking with Matt that it was more dirty before the event.

Sent via messenger pigeon - i talk, he types.

Why do you say it was no moab Jake? I can hardly tell the difference. Except we don't have as much mud.
But I'm glad you guys had a good time. Nice photos.

Yeah, ya gotta look pretty hard to tell. I do wish it was moab though. Thanks, Bob!
