07 Commander Fan HELP!

My mothers fan on her commander went out...ok easy job checked realy not it replaced fan...not it....now there is some electrical piece that didnt come with the new fan but was on the old... another easy switch....some sort of thermal sensor? not sure...anyone know what it is how i can test it or where to buy one other than the dealer?

By fan, do you mean the heater/blower fan?
As in the fan that blows air through the vents?
Or the fan in the engine compartment?

Sigh I knew that was coming lol the cooling fan under the hood...i know my xj but this commander is full of crazy surprises

Have you checked the fuse for the fan?

Yeah i checked that im pretty sure its that thing mounted on the fan but i dont know what it is

Well, that is probably the limit of my knowledge then. Never been under the hood of one of those

Got it....simple right? Unlabeled 50 amp fuse.....next time i wont trust my father to check all the fuses...Steve, Josh thanks for all your help

Oh I am such a genius
