the roof of my xj is covered in rust. we get a lot of snow and the roof is starting to pay for it. any esay and cheap suggestions?

If you plan on keeping the XJ until it dies, then scraping it, I would sand the rust and then apply bedliner.

This is not the best picture but I did the top of my bronco. This was done about 10 years ago. I have thought about doing the whole vehicle, but never went through with it. The top is in great shape, just like the day after the Hercules bedliner was applied.

how bad was the roof on the bronco..did you remove the rust, prime then apply the bed liner?

just surface rust. A good sand, wiped good and applied the bed liner with a brush.
