    Tidy looking Isuzu ..

    Pretty sure 4x4 was a factory option, down here - after about 1978/1979 ..

    Sold as Chevy LUV here too - until they were revamped and sold as Holden Rodeos.

    The Toyota brings back memories ... Toyotas cheap fix attempt to create a SUV ... didnt mind the later ones with a full station wagon body tho.

    I remember 4X4 versions from the factory. IFS front.
    230 hp 4.3L Chevy
    Built 4L60E with manual lockout
    Atlas 4 speed
    Griffin radiator
    On board air
    Warn 9.5ti on custom bumper
    7.5" RE front and bastard pack rear on custom long arms
    30 gal gas tank
    lockers
    And a bunch of other stuff

    Yes sir.1979 was the first factory run.it was chevys go at toyota.but it failed.as much as chevy wanted to be a front runner in the small market back then...they wher still pawning off cheep isuzu pu.but a handy pu of its time.

    I went to the wrecking yard and got the front discs and calipers to put on my Mighty Mite, but never got around to it
    230 hp 4.3L Chevy
    Built 4L60E with manual lockout

    My dana 30 under it still Has the stock luv disk and caliper on it.

    Freinds dad in HS had a 4x4 luv with a 283 conversion?? I think cant remmember was more into girls than trucks back then
