He really don't have any idea how far my Jeep has come since he last saw it. It's gonna be fun for sure.

That's awesome... The Scout is coming along nicely as well... I always liked the older scouts like that.. but the are pretty scarce and hard to find.. at least on my tight budget anyways... Look forward to seeing pics from the fun times, you two manage to get into..

Yeah that thing really was a diamond in the rough. His wife bought it for him for his birthday for 800. It needed a couple hundred dollars worth of brake work. Lucky dog!!

I think he'd like to do more with it but its plenty clean and he'll probably just leave this one be and pick up something else for an offroad rig.

I think even with it being as clean as it appears to be. I'd still put a small lift and some nice beefy tires on it... to at least give it the proper stance and look, like it should have from the factory... Tell him, Jeeps are pretty good for an offroad rig...

Whatever he has for a vehicle is the greatest at everything. According to him anyways. He won't buy a Jeep just because I have one..

Just a few hours at work today then go home and load my junk on a trailer and head west. The kids just got off the plane from Washington a few hours ago so we get to pack pack pack and then 9 hours worth of driving. My brother is already on his way and sent me this for proof. This weekend is gonna be a blast I'm excited to wheel, have the kids home, and see my niece and nephew for the first time.

Well mine is loaded and mostly ready to go. Just need to get the wife and kids to get their stuff packed and we should be ready to take off.

What's that in the back window?

He's in a 1500 gas I'm running a 2500 Cummins. Trailer is probably around 1800 empty. Plus 4600 ish for the jeep plus all the extra gear and kids. She's a hefty rig right now.

Thought his was looking like a 1500 and yours was at least a 2500.. just coudln't figure out if it was CTD or Hemi powered... Can't wait to find myself a 2500 Hemi or CTD... even more so, can't wait to find a trailer to move my XJ with, so I don't have to rent one anymore...
