Rear tail light on a 89 wagoneer.
I just got a 1989 jeep wagoneer limited and I have a question about the rear turn signal's and brake light because when I hit the brakes all four light up the red and Amber on both sides, and when I turn on the turn signal's either side the red and Amber light up to is that how it's suppose to be and it just has the wrong tail housings or what? Any help is appreciated.

Got pic of the tail lights? The xj wagoneer tail lights didn't have an amber area. Solid red with a clear reverse light and chrome trim.

Like Jake said, The Wagoneer XJ's did have multiple lense colors, just all red with the back up light lens cover near the bottom being clear/white.

Honestly they're a bit sought after and hard to find since they only came on the waggy. There is a set on ebay but they're80 and one is cracked.

Check the JY's often if you have access to some. I've seen XJ wagoneers on several occasions.

The first gen dodge Dakota and comanche tail lights are the same as the wagoneer, I think.
