Default Front grill or grill header

I looked in search in this section, even typed out front grill and nothing came up? I would have thought the term front grill would show something? Anyway I have heard the term header used as the front wrap around that actually surrounds the entire front grill area. Ok, now mine is busted up, I have a 97 Cherokee sport, what years will these interchange so when I go to the salvage yard I can ask for. Or maybe just buy one, they seem to be cheap.

They will all fit, but to match the body lines, you need 97 - 01 header. Grill is your choice

I believe the term you're searching for is header panel. That's the whole skin that surrounds the grill and lights. 97-01 are the same like Steve said.

Ok I picked up a header panel that is primed and I'm just going to rattle can spray paint it. My Jeep is black, any suggestions on paint? I realize it will eventually fade away from wind and weather and no big deal to me. so for now just want to put several thin coats on at a time, maybe even 5 or 6 coats of course drying each time. Also want 2 or 3 coats of clear coat, rattle can. Any good tips?

Also the PO took the rubber side bumper pads off doors and there is still the sticky foam and glue on . What's the best way to get that off?

Might start with WD40 on the glue. You can work up to Debadging stuff

I used a bit of WD40 on some of the glue and GooGone on the some of it, and just kept working at it... I loved the look far better with out the rubber "bumper".. It's not like they are that useful once you lift it up... and def not useful off road!! LOL

Is there a clip and bolt or screw kit with everything to install the header panel? A package with everything I need? I own a 68 Chevy K10 short box and I can order just a bolt kit like for my grill so I guess was just wondering if I can for my jeep.

There are four studs that hold the fiberglass header on the fenders and there are four across the top. Not sure where you would get those, perhaps a fastener shop. Sometimes they pull out, but you can easily fix that with 5 minute epoxy
