    Default 8.25 wheel bearings

    I am trying to check if my wheel bearings are bad...I checked any side to side up and down play there is NO play but when I spin it it doesn't feel smooth...should it be completly smooth spinning?

    Should be fairly smooth. But the brake shoes will rub the drum a little.

    It's hard to explain...but it feels almost like running your finger across a old school wash board...if that makes any sense...lol with the tire off and just turning the axle shaft it's self it feels like it's running across ridges.

    Might open up the diff and have a look at your gears. If they're fine, you need the diff cover off anyways to do the rear bearings. BTW, I bought Timken rear bearings from rockauto.com for a great price.
