    Default Tire questions

So upon rooming the local orschelns I came across a deal on tires it's buy three get one free plus a 80 rebate (cooper at3s) so about 400 total my problem is I don't want to buy tire twices and was thinking of going with 245/75r16s which are 30.5? , any way it will be 3-6 months before I lift my jeep but still want it to look good after the lift but don't want to rub the tire a lot before I lift does anyone know if they will rub to much?

    Thanks,
    Ethan

I don't think you will rub a lot. I ran 31s with no lift and only rubbed at full stuff in the back and on the front lower link. But that still rubbed after lifting due to using stock rims

Will your current tires make it another 3-6 months? If they have enough tread left to safely drive them for the next 3-6 months, buy the at3's and sit on them until you install your lift.

I wouldn't buy anything except the bare minimum until you get your lift/trim combo fingered out. I personally bought 31's, then trimmed and wanted 33s. I ended getting 350 for them on CL. I spent 900 a few months before and put less than 1000 miles on them. get your height and fenders setup then buy tires.

The ones I found on Craigslist were amazing. That is the first place I'd start.
