ok so got all lift parts and almost done putting everything on.
i removed teh evap canister and line.

    drum brakes are completely useless.

xj rear brake line vs YJ. notice i had to slice off the end to get the old one out.

shock bolts broke in the rear. i used the swaybar pin elimenator deals
had to peel up the floor on driverside. psgnr side was easy enough to do from beneath.

stock blown xj rear shock vs Rubicon JK shock(was red)

    worn out XJ leaf springs

    heres the new ones.
i removed the flat spring because it would scrap and plow things when off road. also my U bolts werent long enough. they came with shims i still used. RE leaf packs for 3-4" was actualy like 6-7"

buddy hooked me up with a first aid kit

was going to throw these on.
    WJ front upper control arms.
almost the same. 2dif bolt holes.
i had to shave off bolt head n nuts n punch them out.

unfortunately i couldn't manage to loosen the nuts n bolts to the lower control arms, they adjust n would b perfect but wouldn't budge. nor could i budge the axle forward not even a tad ;/

    new track bar n mount

found this. could be went i had death wobble

drilled bar bushing n lower mount for bigger bolt.

terrible noises and wobble on the way home from work...
    found this

ended up cutting into the floor and welding in new nuts. what a headache
dumped motor oil in the frame too to preserve it

Sounds like a lot of similar issues I had with my lift replacement/upgrade... I also had to joint the cut panels in the cargo floor group... I also did the BPE's, so at least won't have to do that again... was thinking about how to make the panel removable and still bed line my XJ floor.. but then remembered I did the BPE's, so won't hopefully need it to be removable... Looking like good progress.. and I'd say the wobbled out hole probably is a good reason for your DW on top of the jacked UCA bushing @ the axle!!

what a nightmare. FLCAs. i bought new oem WJ ones.
they are like .10" of an inch shorter not much. but il adjust with the caster deal which is about 1/2".
had to cut off the caster bolts. drill and hammer the carriage bolt top. use new bolts
had to cut off both rear bolts and used torch and bang out cut bolts. front bolts came out nice....kinda
    FOUND DEATH WOBBLE PROBLEM yaayayay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
right side, body side of flca. poly bushing wobbled around like an egg in a bowl.
the UCA was replaced and had a bad bushing.
POLY bushings are junk after so long.
ran out of daylight and time. i wanted to spend time with my son before he went to sleep.
today il put the new ones on

18v grinder is awesome no cord. but my battery after 4years finaly shorted out 60 battery..only battery.

    xj FLCA vs WJ FLCA
WJ is solid CA with a bump.
my 31s would scrap at too much turn making a hidous noise.

WJ 15 5/8" (measured middle of hole to middle of hole)

    XJ 15 3/4"

not sure i mentioned. but i drilled the hole bigger and put a bigger bolt in.
i should do the weld a washer on trick. ..or weld the bracket up top of axle..

Looking good.. Did you do any kind of boxing in around the Hi-lift jack point you made in the front bumper, or just cut the hole out for the hi-lift?? Might have missed it in previous posts, and if I did, I apologize..
