    Default Rear leaf mount failed?

So as the title says rear leaf mount failed. The captive nut broke loose from inside the frame, I had been able to reach in with a nut in an open end and get it to hold but a year later it has failed again, has anyone got a fix for this, I guess it is time to drop the tank and get cutting and grinding and welding in a new section. I have a little too much lift already in the rear so I don't want to use the relocation brackets. Any ideas will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    EZ

unfortunately welding it up might be the strongest fix for it
