Default Iron Man Control Arms (pics)

I been eyeballing iron man's control arms for some time.

    http://www.ironman4x4fab.com/Jeep_XJ...s/XJ_FUCA.html

At first I was skeptical because of the low price but after reading a few reviews in other forums, I was convinced they are actually worth a try. I spoke with Adam and he had a set on it's way to me in record time. I got em quick and hassle-free.

    Here's what he sent me:

I asked for arms that were adjustable from 14"-18" and he got it perfectly. Normally they are 15"-19" if I'm correct. Adam says he does custom lengths if needed, you just send him an email of what lengths you need and he'll make em.

The arms themselves are BEEF. They aren't 2" thick or anything, but they are strong. Welds are good, and everything is very tight. I like the fact that the threaded portion goes all the way to the end of the arm, which gives it a tight clunk-free feel even with the jam nut loose.

    Male end is 1" solid
    Female end is 1.25"

The bushings have grooves for grease to flow and lube the entire bushing, which is a plus. There's also a grease fitting as you can see. The arms come painted but need to be re-painted according to the instructions. They come pre-painted but to prevent corrosion and rust during storage and shipping. One of the reasons the arms are cheaper than most is cuz he does not powdercoat or paint and that cuts down on costs. I don't like powdercoating and I like the ability to paint my parts myself whichever color i please. A 4 can of good quality paint goes alot further than powdercoating.

Overall I'm very pleased with this order and I already plan on ordering one or two more of his items. If you want a set of strong upper adjustable arms at a super low price, these are it.

Have they held up good? No issues? Did you paint them or leave them with the paint they come with?

I would say any of the aftermarket radius long arm brackets would work. These are the same as the other radius arms except they have much more adjustability. Send Adam an email and see what he says.

They look very strong. Is that bushing replaceable and what is the replacement cost and source?
Hey bubba get your hand off my ass,

Some days it is just not worth it to gnaw through the leather restraints.

I'm not sure but it appears to be a two piece bushing so I'm sure it's replaceable with the same or different bushing.

From what it says on the website, it appears the bushings are from BDS Suspensions.

I'm also curious about the longarm set up too.

It says (i think) that the flex joints are from bds but not sure about the bushings. BDS uses blue blushings but the ones on mine seem a little different than the bds bushings i see online. They could be the same, not sure.

Was the tie rod flip kit included with the tie rod? if not, how much was it?

Here are some pictures of them installed. I took these pictures after removing my drop brackets.

I got the RC lowers set at 16 3/8" and uppers at 16". It's perfect.

Yes I know, alot of mud under there. I just came back from wheeling.
