    Default Overdrive wobble

I just got a '97 GC Limited with 5.2. It was rough when I got it- broken exhaust with no cat or muffler, no front driveshaft, and a miss due to clogged injectors. While I've taken care of most of those issues, I've noticed when it shifts into Overdrive, it feels like the front end is wobbling. When I'm accelerating or coasting it doesn't do it, only when I'm at a steady speed in OverDrive.

In what might be a related issue, I hit a pothole going about 45mph, and it felt like the front wheel was falling off! I pulled over as quick as I could and didn't see anything loose. Today I'm jacking it up and checking for anything loose (wheelbearings, suspension, shocks...)

    ANybody have a similar wobble?

Sounds like you might have classic death wobble. You are on the right track. Check for anything loose. The best way to do it is to have someone saw he steering wheel back and forth while you are watching it. Pay particular attention to the track bar.
