Level: Jeep Liberty
No Brake lights including 3rd light
I have a 1998 Cherokee XJ. I already replaced the brake switch figuring that would be the fix but it didnt fix it. Fuses under the hood and in the passenger kick panel are good. What else should I look for?
edit: no hitch wire harness. Sorry for not mentioning that.

I believe they all use a common ground. So I would check for a ground or reground one light and see if it makes a difference. Also use a test light to see if you get any voltage back there at all in that circuit

I removed the brake light switch but left the wires connected and the brake lights turned on. I had to reset the switch to get it to auto adjust again and it worked.
