Replacing rear leaf springs

At the moment my rear leaf springs are.. well... just not so springy anymore.. instead of having a cup like feature like they are supposed to, they're almost flatter than the trim on my door, and the ride is b-u-u-u-u-u-m-p-y-y in the rear.

SO

I'd like to replace them with new ones, but wouldn't mind my rear end of the jeep maybe a bit higher than stock, although I'd like a lift at some-point It's not going to happen within the next year due to traveling, so I'll save that Idea for another time.

Looking for any recommendations of certain types as well as other ideas!

Well, if you want a little lift, Old Man Emu has a 1.5" lift spring and they make some of the best riding springs out there. Although, if you don't want lift you can get stock replacements and even HD units to handle more load.

OME makes a great lift spring. Have them on my 96.

My advice... when you go to remove the front spring bolts, bring a torch. Too many try and remove them and forget they are factory thread locked.

Thanks for both of your replies! I've been reading upon medium duty (standard duty)? and heavy duty OEM springs. Saying that the heavy duty are soft when you want them to be, and stiff when there's a heavy load.

Any recommendations or pointers when replacing? PLEASE and TY!

Liberally apply penetrant, well in advance to the bolts. And have a breaker bar ready for the front bolts.
