    Question Fuel Pump wiring?

I am slowly getting Mort all wired up, and came across this problem a while back.

I have installed a larger Genright gas tank, this replaced the stock pump with a larger diameter one from a zj, (the one with the big 8" locking ring) now the wiring harness that I used from a 96 xj has 5 wires at the fuel pump connector, and the pump itself only has 4. so now what? I have had no luck searching through manuals, and Jenssen said there was a write up on here about this but I can't seam to find it.

so does anyone have any information on this??? any advice??

    Thanks in advance, Pook

Ha, I see the difference now. The early gauges did not use the low fuel wire. There was a little circuit board that handled the low fuel light. If you eliminate that wire you have lost nothing since the low fuel light should still work
